A message from the Program Director

Dear Funkateers,

Kelly Stuart and I have been friends and music lovers for many years, Kelly has now stepped back and taking a well-deserved retirement.

Over the years we have pooled our knowledge and know-how to make this station work. Between us both we have 50 years of expierience behind us and now we can put it to good use. Through working with the super stars like –  The Jackson family /  George Clinton Billy Paul / Kool and the Gang and EWF etc…has given us a first-hand insight into R&B radio.
Now it is time – in the new Europe, that a station which is dedicated to promoting Old School music be born!!!
A station, which is purely R&B Adult Contemporary formatted – we give you WKIZ Radio Kizz.

About us

Hi Funkateers WKIZ has now been on air since 2007 and we have been making strides that are absolutely amazing. Our team has grown and the listener quota is at its all-time best. We are the only radio that provides commercial-free none-stop Old School R&B / Soul / Funk /Dance and Disco 24/7.
One of our latest programs is “Lost in the 90s” / “Lost in the 80s” and “Lost in the 70s” which are totally Old School and “The Urban Meltdown”.
“TSOP”. Joining the team are 2 new DJs (more info in a few days). 
The presenters are all professionals with years of radio and club knowledge and experience. We all do this job (if you can really call it A JOB?) because we live for the music of life & Soul.
Listen to how the team is swimming in the music they love and respect. This station is for “Grown Folks”. We have a completely mobile broadcasting system and if you wish to see us live in a club or on stage then check out the “EVENTS” icon.

Both Kelly & CJ are Program Directors, they consult the current music industries music magazines, such as R&R\Billboard charts for new music ads and are constantly updating the station’s music library with the best of the best in Old School AC, Soul & R&B.
